After playing Alabama in Atlanta to open the 2017 season, Florida State will make its home debut on Sept. 9 against Louisiana-Monroe.

The Warhawks will also come to Tallahassee on Sept. 7, 2019 to face the Seminoles. For the two contests, Louisiana-Monroe will receive a combined $3 million in guaranteed money, according to FBSSchedules.com.

FSU shut out Louisiana-Monroe 34-0 at Doak Campbell Stadium to open the 2011 season in the only previous meeting between the schools. FSU now has three of its four non-conference opponents set for 2017 and 2019.

The Seminoles will also play Alabama and at Florida next season. In 2019, FSU will face Boise State and visit Florida. FSU was originally scheduled to face Boise State on Sept. 7, 2019 in Tallahassee, but that contest has been moved up to Aug. 31 in Jacksonville. The 2020 meeting between the Seminoles and Broncos is still scheduled for Boise, but has been pushed back a week from Sept. 12 to Sept. 19, according to FBSSchedules.com.
