Florida State junior Roderick Johnson was named the ACC’s Offensive Lineman of the Week on Monday.

The left tackle was a big part of FSU’s best offensive effort of the season in Saturday’s 55-35 win over South Florida. The 55 points was the most for the Seminoles in more than a year.

As a team, Florida State tallied 647 yards of offense, including 478 on the ground. Junior running back Dalvin Cook had the best day of his FSU career, but was snubbed for ACC Offensive Back of the Week.

Cook was not honored for his career-effort against South Florida on Saturday, rushing for 267 yards – the second highest total in FSU history and a yard better than his previous career-high – and two touchdowns. Cook also added 62 yards receiving on four catches to finish with 329 yards from scrimmage. That’s the most for a Power 5 player in nearly two years.

Still, the honor for ACC Offensive Back of the Week went to North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky for his efforts in a 37-36 win over Pittsburgh on Saturday. Trubisky and Cook will square off this week as FSU plays host to North Carolina.
