Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher’s annual camp continues to bear fruit for the Seminoles. Hours after landing 5-star cornerback Stanford Samuels, FSU picked up a second commitment on Thursday in the form of 2018 defensive tackle Robert Cooper.

Cooper, a monstrous 6-2, 360-pound defensive tackle out of South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Georgia, picked the Seminoles over South Carolina, Boston College and Kentucky among others.

Cooper is listed as a 4-star prospect, according to the 247Sports National Composite. Cooper becomes the fourth member of Florida State’s 2018 class, joining 4-star cornerback Isaiah Bolden, who committed on Tuesday and running backs Charles Strong and James Cook.

Cooper’s commitment bumps Florida State’s national ranking to fourth in the country and second in the ACC.
