FSU Baseball: Final Polls Released

The college baseball season concluded on Thursday with Coastal Carolina ousting Arizona 4-3 in the decisive game of the College World Series. As a result, the Chanticleers top the final baseball polls which were released on Friday.

Also ranked in the final polls is Florida State. The Seminoles went 41-22 this past season before falling to Florida in three games in the Gainesville Super Regional.

In the Baseball America Poll, FSU finishes ranked No. 13. That’s a 5-spot climb from its previous ranking.

Florida State also finished 13th in the USA Today Coaches Poll. FSU was No. 12 in the poll at the start of the NCAA Tournament.

The NCBWA Poll had Florida State finish 13th as well. NCBWA had the Seminoles at No. 10 prior to the start of the NCAA Tournament.

The Seminoles finish one spot lower in the D1Baseball.com Poll at No. 14. That’s where FSU was ranked in the poll prior to the start of the NCAA Tournament.
