It’s a big weekend for Florida State as the Seminoles are set to finish the ACC Baseball Tournament, start a softball Super Regional and begin the men’s NCAA Golf Championships. Here’s a look at whose stock is up and whose is down around Nole Nation:

Stock Up

FSU third baseman John Sansone and first baseman Dylan Busby: After lackluster finishes to the regular season, FSU senior third baseman John Sansone and sophomore first baseman Dylan Busby have each started the ACC Tournament with a bang. The two have combined for three home runs and seven of FSU’s 12 RBIs in the first two games.

FSU pitcher Cole Sands: Florida State freshman pitcher Cole Sands was absolutely outstanding in Thursday’s 6-1 ACC Tournament win over Georgia Tech. Sands allowed a run on three hits and one walk in five innings to pick up the win. In his previous start against Miami, Sands lasted just 3 1/3 innings while giving up five runs.

Stock Down

FSU second baseman Matt Henderson: Through the early parts of the ACC Tournament, Florida State second baseman Matt Henderson has had a rough time getting things going at the plate. Henderson is 0-for-6 to start the conference tournament and 0-for-8 dating back to the regular season finale.

Worth Mentioning

  • Saturday’s ACC Tournament contest between Florida State and Miami will determine a spot in the ACC Championship. The Seminoles went 4-0 in Durham last year to win the ACC Tournament. The last team to win it in consecutive years was Wake Forest, who won back-to-back titles in 1998 and 1999.
  • Florida State’s softball team opens the NCAA Super Regionals on Friday against Utah. The first game of the best-of-three series will begin at 5 p.m. EST and air on ESPNU. The Seminoles look for a second trip to the Women’s College World Series in three years. Utah hasn’t been since 1994.
  • All of Florida State’s tennis competitors have been eliminated from the NCAA Individual Championships. Benjamin Lock advanced with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Vanderbilt’s Daniel Valent on Wednesday, but was eliminated by North Carolina’s Ronnie Schneider on Thursday, 3-6, 7-6, 6-2. Lock and doubles partner Marco Nunez were eliminated by Oklahoma State’s duo of Julian Cash and Arjun Kadhe in three sets. On the women’s side, FSU’s Daneika Borthwick was defeated by Mississippi State’s Georgiana Patrasc in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0.
  • FSU extended the contract of head soccer coach Mark Krikorian through 2020. In 11 seasons as head coach, Krikorian has led the Seminoles to eight College Cups, including the 2014 national championship.
  • FSU’s men’s golf team begins the NCAA Championships on Friday afternoon.
