Florida State now knows who its Thursday opponent will be during the 2016 ACC Tournament in Durham. The answer: Georgia Tech.

The Yellow Jackets advanced to pool play on Tuesday by taking down eighth-seeded Boston College in the play-in round of the tournament. Wade Bailey, Tristin English and Trevor Craport all homered for the No.-9 seed Yellow Jackets while Brandon Gold worked 6 2/3 shutout innings to pick up the 6-0 win.

The Yellow Jackets join Pool A which includes not just the fourth-seeded Seminoles, but top-seed Miami and No. 5-seed N.C. State as well.

FSU will take on Georgia Tech at 3 p.m. EST on Thursday. Florida State completed a 3-game sweep of the Yellow Jackets when the teams met in Tallahassee to open ACC play in mid-March.

The Seminoles open the ACC Tournament at 11 a.m. on Wednesday against N.C. State and conclude pool play at 3 p.m. on Saturday against Miami.

Wake Forest also advanced to pool play on Tuesday with a 4-3 victory over host Duke. The Demon Deacons will be joined in Pool B by Louisville, Virginia and Clemson.

The winner of each pool will square off for the ACC Championship at noon EST on Sunday.
