Poll Movement for FSU Baseball (May 16)

Florida State is coming off a dismal week as the Seminoles went just 1-4. FSU lost midweek games to Jacksonville and Florida Gulf Coast before dropping two of three to Duke over the weekend. As a result, the polls were not kind to FSU.

In the Baseball America Poll, the Seminoles fell seven spots to No. 14. FSU was seventh last week.

The D1Baseball Poll, Florida State dropped four spots from fifth to No. 9. The Seminoles dove six spots in the USA Today Coaches Poll to No. 12. FSU was previously sixth.

In the NCBWA Poll, FSU dropped five spots from sixth to 11th.

FSU is 33-17 on the season. The Seminoles will play their final midweek game on Tuesday at Stetson before concluding the regular season with a 3-game series against rival Miami. Tuesday’s road contest has been moved up 90 minutes to a 5 p.m. EST start.
