The last few days have been quiet for Florida State athletics, especially with Wednesday’s baseball contest with Stetson being postponed to rain. With limited action, here’s what stocks are rising and which ones are falling around Nole Nation:

Stock Up

FSU’s Dalvin Cook and Roderick Johnson: The 2016 football season hasn’t gotten underway yet and a pair of key pieces to the FSU offense are already considered first round picks for the 2017 NFL Draft. Running back Dalvin Cook and tackle Roderick Johnson have each been pegged as first rounders by a couple of publications. Johnson is the headliner for the FSU offensive line, while Cook is coming off the greatest season for a Seminole running back. Cook rushed for nearly 1,700 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2015.

Stock Down

Beating Florida on the Diamond: The FSU baseball team went 0-3 this season against rival Florida and on Wednesday, the softball team also secured a winless season against the Gators. Florida defeated FSU 7-1 on Wednesday night and then 1-0 in a game that was suspended last month and completed Wednesday.

April Showers Bringing May Flowers: The Seminoles had a fifth baseball game affected by weather on Wednesday as their contest at Stetson was postponed until May 17. FSU had a pair of home games against N.C. State cancelled earlier in the season to rain and two against Boston College cancelled to snow.
