Florida State has missed out on playing four ACC games this season as a result of weather, but the Seminoles have tried to compensate for that by adding non-conference games.

On Thursday, the Seminoles added a May 11 contest against Florida Gulf Coast at Dick Howser Stadium, according to ESPN3’s Ariya Massoudi. The game is slated to start at 1 p.m. EST. As of 5 p.m. EST on Thursday, the athletic department could not confirm the added contest.

After having two home games against North Carolina State cancelled because of rain in late March and two more at Boston College cancelled to snow the following weekend, FSU added a midweek 2-game set against Texas Tech on April 5 and 6. The Seminoles ended up splitting those two games.

FGCU currently has a record of 19-18 while FSU is 25-11 and ranked in the top 10 in most of the college baseball polls. The teams split a pair of 5-0 decisions in Tallahassee last season.
