Florida State head basketball coach Leonard Hamilton capped a solid 2016 recruiting class on Wednesday with the addition of junior college guard Braian Angola-Rodas.

The 6-6 guard will join a talented incoming corps of freshmen that includes 5-star forward Jonathan Isaac and 4-star guards C.J. Walker and Trenton Forrest. Mfiondu Kabengele is a 3-star forward and the nephew of NBA Hall of Fame center Dikembe Mutombo.

Angola-Rodas picked the Seminoles over Houston, Oregon, Utah and Washington. FSU currently has the No. 10 overall class for 2016, according to 247Sports.

Angola-Rodas was named a first-team junior college All-American this past season, averaging 21 points, 6.5 rebounds and more than four assists per game. Angola-Rodas will arrive at FSU as a sophomore and try to help the Seminoles reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in five seasons.

Florida State finished 20-14 this past season before being eliminated by Valparaiso in the second round of the NIT.
