Florida State women’s basketball center Adut Bulgak got a new team Thursday night as the 6-4 Canadian was taken with the final pick of the first round of the 2016 WNBA Draft.

Bulgak went 12th overall to the New York Liberty, becoming the first Seminole to be selected in the WNBA Draft since Natasha Howard went fifth overall to the Indiana Fever in 2014. She’s the 10th FSU player ever to be selected in the WNBA Draft.

Bulgak is expected to provide an immediate presence down low. As a senior for the Seminoles last season, Bulgak averaged 12.7 points and a team-high 7.8 rebounds per game. Bulgak is among the top 10 all-time scorers in FSU history.

With Bulgak being drafted by the Liberty, the Seminoles will now have three active players in the WNBA. Howard now plays for the Minnesota Lynx and Roneeka Hodges is a guard for the Atlanta Dream. Hodges was selected 15th overall by the Houston Comets in 2005.
