Florida State’s all-time leader in games played earned the highest basketball honor in the league he plays in over in Greece.

On Wednesday, Okaro White was named the regular season MVP after averaging 13.5 points, 7 rebounds and nearly 2 assists per game for Aris B.C.

White played for Florida State from 2010-14. After helping FSU reach the NCAA Tournament as a freshman during the 2010-11 season, White averaged nearly eight points during the Seminoles’ run to the 2012 ACC championship.

White averaged 12.4 points and nearly six rebounds as a junior before posting career-highs of 13.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game as a senior while shooting better than 51 percent from the field. White was FSU’s leading rebounder and shot-blocker that season. A Clearwater native, White averaged in double-figures scoring for his FSU career.

After NBA Summer League stints with the Detroit Pistons and Memphis Grizzlies, it’s safe to say White has made a name for himself abroad.
