With two ACC games cancelled for a second straight week, there wasn’t much baseball to be played for Florida State. The Seminoles went 1-1 this past week.

After dropping a 3-2 contest to Florida in Jacksonville on Tuesday night, FSU blanked Boston College 3-0 on Friday. As a result of heavy snow in the area, the weekend contests scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Chestnut Hill were cancelled. Still, the Seminoles did some moving in the polls.

In the Baseball America Poll, FSU climbed one spot from No. 12 to 11th. In the Poll, the Seminoles remained No. 9.

The biggest jump this week for Florida State was in the Collegiate Baseball Poll. The Seminoles climbed three spots from eighth to fifth.

FSU remained seventh in the NCBWA Poll. In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Seminoles remained at No. 8.

Florida State will play a 2-game midweek with Texas Tech, beginning on Tuesday. The Seminoles will host Louisville from Friday to Sunday. Louisville was No. 4 in this week’s Baseball America Poll.
