    Too bad he could not have be awarded it sooner. It would have probably helped to ease some of the things he went through...and definitely rewarded him financially for life as well.

    I think that the GWOT military folks have gotten the short end of the stick considering the time spent pursuing this conflict and the amount of battles and skirmishes fought, there should be far more MOH winners. I mean when guys dove on grenades to save the life of their comrades back in the day, it was automatic. One of the most recent MOH winners, Cpl Kyle Carpenter, did so and his stuff had to be reviewed multiple times. Dude is a small guy too, much like Audie Murphy.
