FSU jumps from #17 to #7 in latest Sagarin ranking

I guess we were really impressive with our BYE week performance. Auburn and Michigan State also improved by not playing.

Sagarin uses last years results until around the 5th week. Then his numbers settle down a bit

Not blowing out bad teams will do that. I mean, Citadel, really?

We scored TDs on the first four possessions in that game, and then the backups took over. We won by 25 points and The Citadel didn't score any points until the fourth quarter. The final (meaningless) score came in with 12 seconds left in the game. Not sure why teams have to risk injury to starters in a game that's already over in order to get style points in the polls.

Ask MJ how many touchdowns his team scored against a bad Kentucky team in the first half.

How do you know UK is bad?

Kentucky has been a huge pile of suck forever. They are a bad team until they do anything on the field that would indicate otherwise. Going into OT with Florida doesn't cut it.

We will see. That UK team last week looked to be better coached than any UK team since Brookes was the coach and took them to consecutive bowl games. Especially on defense. Given the HC's background, I guess that should not be surprising.
