    Swatting Hoax

DeQuincy, LA — What many teenagers these days are considering a harmless prank, has landed one online gamer in more trouble than he could have ever imagined. In a Louisiana courtroom today, 15-year-old Paul Horner broke down in tears after a judge found the young man guilty on two counts of domestic terrorism and was sentenced to twenty-five years to life in federal prison......

Seems other news sources picked up a Hoax story from Onion like NationalReport.net.

Video on front page of a swatting.

Hope the sentence gets reduced (a little) but people need to know how dangerous this is and that it carries real penalties.

Sad his life is ruined at such a young, stupid age.

I do not feel sorry for this person. When I read the story I thought it was going to be a story of a prank gone wrong. That is not a prank. That is malicious criminal activity. Someone was shot. He is lucky they lived or he would have probably been charged with manslaughter as well.

Story is fake. There's a thread about it on the rivals mainboard. If you want the link look there I don't have it handy.

Pretty weak as "satire". For it to qualify, there would have to be some underlying point to be made...not sure what it would be here.
