    Opening night recap

Vandy is back to being Vandy opening the season with a blowout loss to a Temple team that won 2 games last season.

South Carolina is not the best team in the SEC and if they are the SEC is in trouble, now a middle of the pack ex-big12 team is running around the SEC like it owns the place.

Ole Miss and Boise state entered the 4th with Ole Miss having a 1 point lead, however Ole miss did pull ahead in the fourth. Ole miss will lose at least 5 games this year and are ranked much higher than they should be.

Mike Leach still has a long way to go with that Washington State team.

Wake Forest is back to its old tricks, losing in ACC openers to teams from lesser conferences.

South Carolina will probably remain ranked and TaMU will move up 10 spots. Unbelievable how over-ranked the SEC usually is to start the year. That fact that Ole Miss is EVER ranked is a testament to how biased the preseason rankings have been over the last 10 years.

Shaolin, I agree it is a joke that a team like Ole Miss is ranked and a Team like UCF was not after the spectacular year they had.
