The competition wasn’t the greatest, but Florida State is moving up in the college baseball polls.

After a 5-1 week that included a heartbreaking loss at Clemson, a win over Jacksonville and a 4-game sweep of Mount St. Mary’s, the Seminoles are up in every poll. In the Baseball America Poll, FSU moved up two spots from No. 16 to No. 14.

Perhaps the most significant climb for Florida State came in the D1Baseball.com and NCBWA Polls, where it moved up three spots. Previously No. 14, FSU moved up to No. 11.

In the Collegiate Baseball Poll, the rise was also three spots. The Seminoles sit at No. 22 after previously coming in at 25th.

At 37-16 overall, Florida State will wrap up the regular season with three games at home against NC State, beginning on Friday. The Wolfpack are No. 7 in this week’s Baseball America Poll.
