Fresh off a second place finish at the ACC Tournament, Florida State’s women’s golf team will return to the friendly confines of the Don Veller Golf Club.

The Seminoles will host an 18-team, 3-round NCAA Regional from May 5-7. FSU was given the No. 7 national seed.

Joining FSU in Tallahassee next weekend will be Alabama, Furman, Arizona, Washington, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, UNLV, Kennesaw State, Denver, Coastal Carolina, Missouri, College of Charleston, Albany and Richmond. It is the first time since 2014 that FSU has hosted an NCAA Regional.

Florida State’s Amanda Doherty and Morgane Metraux will look to build on strong performances after each finishing in the top 5 at the ACC Tournament. The top six teams in Tallahassee will advance to the NCAA Championships in Stillwater, Oklahoma, which start on May 18.
