Lead Story

Despite a losing week, Florida State beach volleyball moved up in the AVCA Poll.

The Seminoles climbed one spot to No. 4, despite going just 1-3 over the last week. The three losses however, were to each of the nation’s top 3 teams. After falling to Pepperdine, 4-1, FSU fell to USC and UCLA by 3-2 scores.

FSU is 9-3 for the season. The Seminoles will face Pepperdine on Wednesday.

Between the Lines

FSU baseball fell to Florida on Tuesday night, 12-6.

On the Agenda

In addition to beach volleyball, FSU women’s swimming and diving will begin the NCAA Championships in Columbus, Ohio.

News and Notes

FSU is one of 19 teams in both the NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournament.

FSU is among 12 schools to have reached a bowl and the NCAA Tournament this academic year.
