FSU Hoops Returns to AP Poll

After a couple of hard-fought home victories, Florida State has returned to one of the two polls.

FSU rounded out the AP top 25 this week at No. 25. This past week, the Seminoles enjoyed home victories over then No. 11 Clemson and Pittsburgh.

FSU is ranked for the first time since peaking at No. 23 in the AP Poll on Jan. 10. The Seminoles were unranked, but did receive 18 votes in this week’s USA Today Coaches Poll — the fourth most among non-ranked teams.

After defeating Clemson in overtime, 81-79, on Valentine’s Day and defeating Pittsburgh on Sunday night, 88-75, FSU plays just once this week. The Seminoles will visit N.C. State on Sunday night.
