We’re more than seven months away from games being played, but Florida State now knows what its 2018 slate will look like as the ACC unveiled this year’s conference schedule on Wednesday.

The first two games were as previously reported as the Seminoles host Virginia Tech on Labor Day, Sept. 3 before taking on Samford the following Saturday on Sept. 8. FSU hits the road for the first time on Sept. 15 to take on Syracuse before returning home to face Northern Illinois on Sept. 22.

FSU looks to improve to 6-0 in ACC play against Syracuse and run its winning streak over the Orange to 11 when the Seminoles go to the Carrier Dome. The Orange missed a field goal as time expired in last season’s 27-24 loss to FSU in Tallahassee.

Without former Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson, Louisville will look to make it three straight over the Seminoles on Sept. 29 in the Bluegrass State. Blanton Creque kicked the game-winner for the Cardinals in last season’s 31-28 victory in Tallahassee.

The month of October begins with a rival as FSU will try to avoid losing consecutive games to Miami for the first time since the Orange Bowl to conclude 2003 and the 2004 season opener at Miami. The Seminoles will travel to face the Hurricanes this season. They haven’t lost on the road to Miami since 2004.

Florida State will look to extend its winning streak over Wake Forest to six when the Demon Deacons come to town on Oct. 20 following FSU’s bye week. James Blackman threw the game-winning touchdown to Auden Tate with less than a minute to play last season in a thrilling 26-19 victory in Winston-Salem last season. Wake hasn’t scored a touchdown in Tallahassee since shutting out the Seminoles 30-0 in 2006.

Clemson will try to become the first ACC team to beat FSU in four straight seasons when the teams square off at Doak Campbell Stadium on Oct. 27. The last FSU victory in the series came at home in overtime in 2014, 23-17. The winner of the annual contest has gone on to win the ACC Atlantic in every season since 2009.

The month of November begins with a trip to North Carolina State on Nov. 3. The Wolfpack defeated the Seminoles last season in Tallahassee, 27-21. FSU has won the last two contests between the teams in Raleigh, including a dramatic 24-20 win in its last trip.

In between the Nov. 10 contest at Notre Dame and the regular season finale at home against rival Florida on Nov. 24 will be the ACC finale against Boston College on Nov. 17.

FSU will aim to avenge a 35-3 loss at Boston College this past season when the Eagles come to Doak Campbell Stadium. Prior to last season, FSU had won seven straight in the series. BC has not won in Tallahassee since 2007.

Aside from the Labor Day opener against Virginia Tech, the Seminoles will play no games on a Thursday or Friday night for the first time since 2013. Times and networks will be set at later dates.
