A date has reportedly been set for Florida State’s 2018 spring football game.

According to a report from Warchant, the annual Garnet and Gold game will take place on April 14. Warchant makes a point to note that for only the second time in a decade it’ll take place while FSU baseball has a home series. The Seminoles will host a 3-game set with Duke that weekend.

This year’s spring game is expected to bring excitement as it will give fans a first look at FSU under new head coach Willie Taggart. This will be the second year in a row the intrasquad scrimmage is held at a revamped Doak Campbell Stadium after shifting to Camping World Stadium in Orlando while renovations were taking place in Tallahassee in 2016.

Between the Lines

FSU basketball blew a 17-point lead on Wednesday night in a 73-69 loss to Louisville.

On the Agenda

FSU women’s hoops will host Miami on Thursday night. The contest begins at 7 p.m. EST and airs on Fox Sports Florida.
