FSU Scholarship Count Update: Three More Declare

Three more Florida State players have recently declared early for the NFL Draft, including one that was very unexpected.
Over the weekend, wide receiver Auden Tate and cornerback Tarvarus McFadden each declared with neither coming as a huge surprise. The shocker came Monday night when redshirt sophomore defensive end Jalen Wilkerson made the same move.
The only remaining player who appears to be mulling the decision of whether or not to go pro is junior running back Jacques Patrick. He’ll have until next Monday to make that decision.
When factoring in current commitments, the Seminoles currently have 79 scholarships accounted for, which we list below. The “Conceivable Departures” category is reserved for players contemplating the NFL Draft or currently facing disciplinary action.
There will likely be other attrition before the start of 2018. Some may not that Malique Jackson was a senior last season, but he did not appear in a game, making him “Eligible to Return”:
