Lead Story

For one Florida State senior, the Dec. 27 Independence Bowl won’t be his final game wearing an FSU helmet.

Defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi took to Twitter on Saturday to let people know that he has been invited to the 2018 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama on Jan. 27. The all-star game is an opportunity for upperclassmen to show off their skills for the NFL Draft.

Nnadi has had an outstanding career for FSU, twice being named All-ACC. For the season, Nnadi has 51 total tackles, including nine for loss and 3.5 sacks.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Saturday.

On the Agenda

FSU basketball will take on Tulane at 12 p.m. EST on Sunday. The contest will air on ESPNU. The FSU women will host Arizona State at 2 p.m. EST on ACC Network Extra.

News and Notes

4-star receiver Warren Thompson, from Armwood High School in Seffner, decommitted from Oregon on Saturday.

FSU basketball defeated Tulane in Tampa on Sunday, 72-53.

4-star tackle Christian Armstrong will enroll in the spring.
