Lead Story

Florida State’s prospects of signing a quarterback as part of its 2018 class seemed to have gotten a little better on Tuesday.

That’s because 3-star quarterback James Foster unveiled his top 5 and the Seminoles made the cut, along with Arizona, Kentucky, LSU and Missouri, where he was previously committed. Foster, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound prospect out of Montgomery decommitted last month.

Foster is currently listed as the No. 365 overall prospect for 2018, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s the 14th best dual-threat quarterback and the 12th best player from the state of Alabama.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Tuesday.

On the Agenda

FSU volleyball will be at Clemson on Wednesday. FSU basketball hosts Kennesaw State. Both contests will begin at 2 p.m. EST and air on ACC Network Extra.

Florida State sophomore Cameron Thatcher was awarded the ACC Male Diver of the Week on Tuesday.

FSU women’s hoops is No. 11 in this week’s USA Today Coaches Poll.

FSU basketball defeated Kennesaw State 98-79 on Wednesday behind a career-high 21 points from Phil Cofer.
