Lead Story

As the offseason approaches, it appears Florida State will have to deal with more rumors about its head coach potentially leaving.

According to a report from USA Today, Texas A&M is expected to fire head coach Kevin Sumlin and pursue FSU’s Jimbo Fisher. Per the report, Fisher and Texas A&M athletic director Scott Woodward worked together at LSU and have remained in touch.

Fisher is 81-23 during his career at FSU, which includes three ACC titles, five major bowl appearances and the 2013 national championship. This season has been the worst of Fisher’s tenure as the Seminoles are just 3-6 and in danger of missing a bowl game for the first time since 1981.

On the Agenda

There are no FSU athletic events scheduled for Wednesday.
