The hits in the 2017 season just keep coming for Florida State. On Saturday morning, 4-star athlete Marquez Ezzard announced that he was decommiting from the Seminoles.

Ezzard hails from Stockbridge, Georgia and was the sixth highest rated recruit of the 2018 Florida State recruiting class. He was ranked as the 11th best athlete in the nation and the 268th overall player in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He was projected to play wide receiver while in Tallahassee. Ezzard committed to Florida State back in July.

The 2018 Florida State class now sits at 18 commits total. Only eight of them are 4-star recruits or higher. It is unclear if Ezzard is still considering Florida State or if he has decided to move on completely.
