It’s Tuesday, Florida State fans. As you long for the weekend, keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics. The news and notes section of this post will be updated throughout the day.

Lead Story

According to Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher, redshirt junior offensive lineman Derrick Kelly is “going to be fine” after injuring his knee in Saturday’s 17-10 win over Duke.

Kelly left a contest against Wake Forest earlier this season and did not return. Kelly has been playing most of the year as the left tackle for the Seminoles, but the recent loss of guard Landon Dickerson has forced the Quincy native to move inside.

Kelly has been arguably FSU’s best offensive lineman this year and is listed at the left guard on the latest depth chart. Redshirt freshman Josh Ball will man the left tackle position.
