4-Star Defensive Back Commits to Florida State

Despite a rough loss to Miami on Saturday afternoon, Florida State football received good news on the recruiting front on Sunday. 4-star defensive back recruit Houston Griffith announced his commitment to FSU on Twitter.

Griffith is a 2018 recruit out of IMG Academy that many assumed was leaning heavily towards Florida State back during the summer. He staved off his commitment to visit other schools, and is currently on an official visit in Tallahassee.

Griffith is the 10th ranked cornerback in his class and 61st overall prospect in 2018. He becomes the 19th commitment of the 2018 FSU class and is now the second highest rated player in it.
