It’s Tuesday, Florida State fans, which means we’re one day closer to watching an FSU football game. Keep it here for the latest in FSU athletics as we update the news and notes section throughout the day.

Lead Story

After a thrilling 5-set victory over Auburn on Saturday, Florida State volleyball was rewarded with a climb in the poll.

In this week’s AVCA Poll, the Seminoles moved up one spot from No. 20 to No. 19. For the second week in a row, Florida State is the only ranked ACC team.

For the season, FSU is 6-1. Florida State will have a chance to make a major statement as it travels to Gainesville on Tuesday to take on Florida. The Seminoles ended the Gators’ season in the second round of the NCAA Tournament last year.

There were no FSU athletic events scheduled for Monday.

FSU volleyball visits Florida in a match that begins at 6 p.m. EST and airs on SEC Network+.
