Game Time Set for FSU and Wake

Florida State’s contest at Wake Forest on Sept. 30 will begin at 3:30 p.m. EST and air on ABC, the ACC announced on Monday.

The Seminoles have won five straight over the Demon Deacons dating back to 2012. Over that span, Wake Forest has managed just one offensive touchdown against FSU.

The prior three contests in the series also had each been set for 3:30 p.m. EST. FSU defeated the Demon Deacons at home last season by a 17-6 margin. Florida State had to hold off a late rally in its previous trip to Winston-Salem in 2015, 24-16.

The last Wake Forest victory in the series came in 2011 as the Demon Deacons forced five turnovers in a 35-30 win. Wake Forest is off to a 3-0 start this season and will visit Appalachian State this week. FSU will host North Carolina State.
