The race for the nation’s top quarterback prospect for 2018 seems to be swaying in Florida State’s direction.

According to the latest Crystal Ball projections from 247Sports, more than half the prognosticators believe that FSU is the frontrunner to land Justin Fields. Fields, a 6-3, 220-pound prospect from Kennesaw, is the nation’s top ranked quarterback, per the 247Sports Composite rankings, and the No. 2 overall prospect.

Fields was previously a Penn State commitment, but decommitted in early June. The Seminoles currently have the No. 7 overall class for 2018, according to the composite.
