Seminoles Drop to 17th in AP Poll

Despite a big win against N.C. State at home, a loss on the road to Notre Dame caused Florida State men’s basketball to drop three spots in the latest AP poll. The Seminoles come in at 17th in the nation, below four teams that they already beat (Florida, Duke, Louisville, Virginia).

The USA Today Coaches Poll mirrored the AP, also lowering FSU three spots to 18th overall.

Florida State is now 21-5 overall on the season and 9-4 in the ACC. The schedule from here on out lightens up considerably, with only one ranked team (No. 12 Duke) remaining. The Seminoles’ next game will be on Saturday, when they travel to face the Pittsburgh Panthers.
