Despite an unimpressive win against Wake Forest on Saturday, Florida State managed to move up in both the AP Poll and the Amway Coaches Poll.

The AP Poll saw Florida State move up one spot to No. 13, ahead of the future opponent Florida Gators at No. 15. Around the ACC, Clemson stayed at No. 4 and Louisville held steady at No. 7. North Carolina rounds out the conference with the No. 22 spot. Ole Miss (No. 23) is the only team that FSU beat who is still ranked.

The Amway Coaches Poll mirrored this movement, as Florida State moved up one spot from No. 16 to No. 15. Fellow ACC competitors Clemson and Louisville stayed in the top 10 at No. 3 and No. 7, respectively. North Carolina moved to No. 21, and future opponent Florida came in at No. 12. Ole Miss is one spot below its AP ranking.
