Florida State is coming off a 3-2 week. The Seminoles split a midweek series with Texas Tech before taking two of three from No. 4 Louisville over the weekend. As a result, FSU has had some positive movement in the polls.

The Seminoles moved up five spots in the Baseball America Poll. FSU was previously 11th, but jumped to No. 6.

FSU also jumped five spots in the D1Baseball.com Poll, going from ninth to fourth nationally. In this week’s Collegiate Baseball Poll, FSU also ranked fourth — a 1-spot improvement from last week.

In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Seminoles moved up two spots to No. 6, from eighth. The Seminoles also moved up two spots in the NCBWA Poll, from seventh to fifth.

Florida State will host Florida on Tuesday before traveling to take on Wake Forest for three games, beginning on Friday.
