FSU Women Finish 12th in Coaches Poll

Another women’s basketball season is in the books and for the second straight season, Florida State will finish ranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

The Seminoles will finish the season ranked No. 12 in the poll. This comes after finishing seventh and reaching the Elite Eight a season ago.

Florida State’s bid to return to the Elite Eight fell short when the Seminoles were defeated in the Sweet 16 by top-seeded Baylor on March 26 in Dallas. FSU finished the season with a 25-8 record.

Big things are expected from the Noles next season as Florida State is set to only lose two seniors this offseason. Four of FSU’s top five scorers will return.
